Why Do You Think Baseball Is Increasing in Popularity in This Era of Cheating?

by Roger Clemens on January 29, 2011

Baseball is experiencing record attendance and record revenues in this era of steroid cheats. Why do you think that is? And what does this say about the morality and integrity of baseball fans? And the sport itself? And don't say it hasn't been proven yet, the evidence is now overwhelming. I for one will never watch another baseball game live or on TV and am disgusted that Americans still idolize these LOSERS.

Why do you think baseball is increasing in popularity in this era of cheating?

i’d like to see proof of it. i don’t believe anything bud selig says.
he is a moronic dork! does he have any bones in his body, or muscle? maybe he needs to take some HGH so that he can grow some and do something already about it!

Because not even the cheaters that play it nor the incompetence that runs it can ever take away from so perfect a game as baseball.

Honestly, I think those stats are deceiving, because I think attendance and interest is up in ALL sports, from NASCAR to the NFL.

I don’t think baseball is increasing in popularity, I think the Home Run is. Minor League baseball games are much more fun to go and see than the Major Leagues.

mostly ,because of the almighty george and the yankees.when you become so hung up on becoming the best by purchasing the so called best players, you buy problems and attitudes.people love conflicts and fights.players should be developed in the family, sports should be fun and set grounds for the youngsters/but the great george almighty has made it a war zone, which requires drugs, instead of fate

Because the game of baseball itself is bigger than any downside problems created by people. However, fans will only endure so much and those responsible for the game at this time must address all the issues and fix the problems.

Because people either just don’t care or they just make up a bunch of excuses as to why their favorite players are not guilty and the report is wrong.

Baseball has become extremely corporate in its fan base. What morality or integrity does corporate America have?

Chicks dig the long ball.

I think it has more to do with economics. For the most part, the US is affluent and people have the money to fill the ball parks.
