Gee, where’s the drunk that would normally dump a beer on her, and the other drunk screaming eff you?
They’re in the cheap seats.
Its 1913, the stadium drunks were invented in about 1917.
Pretty sure that’s her father sitting next to her.
It looks like Paul Newman! She throws like a girl, too…
the focus on her as well as the focus of the crowd is fantastic, majestic tension,…. that also reveals the age, as much as wearing elbow concealing, kid gloves.

Park? or where ever the Giants are now. It was interesting to live in Brooklyn and be aware that somewhere, under blocks of apartments was Ebbets Field

Ebbets was the home of the Dodgers. The Giants played at the Polo Grounds, way uptown.
