This photo was taken in his only MVP season.
Speaker was at one time considered one of the three greatest AL outfielders along with Cobb and Ruth. Kind of an odd pose….talk about pulling the ball. LOL

An interesting feature of men’s wear from that era: a belt loop in-line with front zippers/button flys.

Tris Speaker was known as on of the best offensive and defensive center fielders in history.
