These sliders offer extra padding on this thighs and hips. My son tore a hunk of skin off his thigh early in the season with compression type sliders and I’m glad I spent the money on the extra padding as he was much more comfortable getting the job done the rest of the season. He has a pair of UA padded and he says he likes both pairs equally. These held up well through multiple washes throughout the season. I like that he didn’t have to wear another layer to hold a cup either. Well thought out safety product!
