I have played and coached baseball for 25 years. Over the years, I have observed kids take a ball to the chest. Some of them were wearing protective gear, some not. Whether or not the ball hit kid because of a bad hop or lack of fundamentals, the kid with the gear came out on top. Not only will it keep you child safe, but he/she will enjoy the game without the fearful memory of being struck by the ball. I’ve witnessed it happen, and the kid was never the same on the field.

This is the second shirt that I have purchased for my son. I bought the first one when he was 8, and now he needs a larger size.
Unlike the safety shirts with foam, the gel in the ZoomBang is more pliable, and absorbs more shock. When you press it with your finger, it moves at the touch, but as you continue to apply pressure, you’ll feel the gel become stiff.
