Not quite as tight as the all spandex compression shorts, these are best for baseball (cup holder is a plus), but less good for football and other sports that benefit from super-tight compression that spandex provides.

I bought these and the (Easton Mens Bio-Dri Red Seam Sliding Shorts) to prevent chaffing when working out (biking, running, orbital, etc) These are perfectly comfortable, provide compression, and stop chaffing. The easton sliding shorts are very similar ( a little tighter) and about 40% cheaper.

Look perfect.

More of a compression short than a sliding short (no padding), but should be great.

These pants are long (almost to my knee), but then again I’m not a tall guy. They definitely get the job done and the price was right. However, they are a little thinner than normal sliding pants, but I don’t expect that to be too large of a problem unless you’re sliding on gravel.

My son is 14 and we tried other sliding shorts when he was younger, but settled on these when he was 10. They are comfortable in hot or cold weather and don’t irritate his sensitive skin.
